Mrs Atkinson became the proud owner of Huntington Kinder Class in 2019. With a wealth of experience, including joint ownership of another preschool in Huntington, Mrs Atkinson is proud to lead Kinder Class’ budding students.

Mrs Atkinson
Manager
Mrs Atkinson journey in early childhood education spans over 25 years. She began as a dedicated practitioner, gradually assuming leadership roles within the field. She has a commitment to fostering an ethos where children are happy and enjoy their time with us, she thrives on making a positive impact on children’s lives. Mrs Atkinson adeptly manages two pre-schools, ensuring that each centre maintains high standards of care, education, and safety. She works closely with Mrs Gawthorpe and the rest of the Huntington Kinder Class team, sharing insights, strategies, and best practices.

Deputy Manager
Mrs Gawthorpe is a mother of four and a grandma, bringing over 30 years of early childhood experience to her role as our pre-school deputy manager. Mrs Gawthorpe is passionate about creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive.As our Manager Mrs Gawthorpe is committed to helping children explore and learn in a hands-on environment. Nothing brings her more happiness than seeing children's confidence grow. She actively collaborates with parents, carers, and the local community. She fosters strong partnerships, ensuring that the pre-school becomes an integral part of the village.

Possessing a contagious enthusiasm, Miss Stanford has been an amazing asset for Huntington Kinder Class. Miss Stanford plans playful activities that ignite curiosity. Whether it’s messy play, storytelling, or outdoor adventures, she celebrates the joy of learning. Her commitment to early education is unwavering.

We are thrilled to welcome Miss Gilmour to our Huntington Kinder Class Family Preschool! Miss Gilmour is a dedicated and enthusiastic young apprentice who is currently pursuing her Early Years Practitioner Level 2 qualification. We look forward to seeing Miss Gilmour thrive and make a positive impact on our preschool community.
